Ivan holds a Bachelor of Laws and completed his Practical Legal Training at Bond University, situated on the Gold Coast. He is a duly admitted Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and has appeared in some the Australia's most high profile cases.

Ivan commmenced his legal career at one of Sydney's foremost criminal law practices, located in the prestigious eastern suburbs. Throughout his tenure in Sydney, Ivan consistently represented clients in the Local, District, and Supreme Courts of New South Wales, handling some of the region's most prominent cases.

Ivan returned to his roots on the Gold Coast, where he assumed the role of in-house legal advisor for a leading Australian import company. In this capacity, he managed legal affairs concerning the manufacture and distribution of goods to Australia's largest retail merchants.

Ivan routinely collaborates with esteemed barristers across the country, addressing a diverse array of complex legal matters spanning multiple jurisdictions in Australia.

Ivan is fluency in English, Assyrian, and Arabic facilitates seamless communication, empowering him to serve a diverse clientele with compassion and understanding.

Alen Sahinovic

Alen is a holder of a Bachelor of Laws from Bond University located on the Gold Coast. He is admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia.

With a keen desire to pursue his life-long passion for advocacy and social justice, Alen commenced working as a solicitor with one of Sydney’s most reputable Criminal Defence firms in 2011. Prior to this, Alen gained experience working for senior criminal law barristers which offered him a unique insight into criminal advocacy and practice.

Alen is admitted in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and is considerably experienced in all aspects of criminal and traffic law; from legal advice, to bail applications, sentencing matters and defended Local Court hearings. He has also instructed counsel in the District and Supreme Courts in complex and serious matters relating to murder, drug importation, serious fraud, commercial drug supply, money laundering and white-collar crime.

Alen’s strong enthusiasm for criminal law is highly evidenced by his absolute dedication to his clients. He prides himself on his ‘hands-on’ approach to all matters and his ingrained ability to listen to his clients and guide them through legal options and processes in an empathetic manner which is always highly appreciated by clients during stressful and difficult periods. Sara Black

Sara Black is an experienced solicitor who holds a Masters of Law specialising in mediation and dispute resolution, a Juris Doctor from Bond University and an undergraduate degree in politics and governance.  

Before completing her university studies, Sara developed an extensive understanding of the legislative process whilst interning for the Canadian Government, which inspired her to obtain her legal education.

Sara began her legal career working for a not-for-profit firm advocating for disadvantaged clients. Throughout her work in the not-for-profit sector, Sara gained experience in preparing and instructing in matters accross various jurisdictions including the Federal and High Court of Australia.

Since moving into the private sector, Sara has applied her extensive knowledge with her passion for advocacy into her work as a Criminal defence solicitor.

Sara regularly appears in sentencing proceedings, severity appeals, bail applications, mental health applications and AVO matters. Sara also has extensive experience instructing counsel in complex criminal sentences and trials in the District Court and the Court of Criminal Appeal.

Sara prides herself on her ability to form lasting relationships with her clients and goes above and beyond to ensure there is constant communication between herself, the clients and their families.

Nicholas completed his Bachelor of Laws and Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at Bond University. He is admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland.

Nicholas commenced his legal career in 2018, where he has excelled in the area of criminal law assisting and overseeing a wide range of matters in all jurisdictions includes the Magistrates (and Local), District and Supreme Courts of both Queensland and New South Wales.

Nicholas continues to excel in his pursuit of becoming a passionate advocate and has briefed many reputable barristers in which he has worked alongside. Nicholas often takes on urgent matters in support of the partner’s, showing his dedication to not only his clients but also his peers.
